MP Rotator Nozzles are shipped from the factory at the maximum radius setting and with the following arc settings:
MP Rotator Model | Factory-Set Arc |
---|---|
90° to 210° | 180° |
210° to 270° | 210° |
360° | Full Circle |
MP Corner | 45° |
MP Side Strip | 180° |
MP Left Corner Strip | 90° |
MP Right Corner Strip | 90° |
Arc Adjustment
- Install the MP Rotator Nozzle with the Left Edge Indicator (flat side of the nozzle) pointing to the left side of the desired watering pattern. Using the two-piece riser with the Hunter Pro-Spray® Sprinkler Body, align the riser by twisting in either direction after the MP Rotator is tightened.
- With the MP Rotator Nozzle operating in the pop-up position, rotate the Arc Adjustment Ring clockwise to increase the arc and counterclockwise to decrease the arc.
Note: Adjustment can be done with the MP Rotator Tool (MPTOOL) or by hand.
Radius Adjustment
The factory setting is for a full radius, and the radius can be reduced by up to 25%. Using the MP Rotator Tool (MPTOOL) or a small flat-bladed screwdriver, rotate the Radius Adjustment Screw:
- Clockwise (4 full turns) to decrease the radius
- Counterclockwise (4 full turns) to increase the radius
Note: A slip clutch mechanism intentionally limits radius reduction to ensure reliable rotation. To prevent damage during adjustment, the MP Rotator Nozzle does not completely shut off like a spray nozzle. For maximum radius reduction with any MP Rotator model, use a 30 PSI (2.1 bar; 210 kPa) regulating spray body.
