A MAC (Media Access Control) address, is a unique identifier assigned to a network interface controller (NIC) for communications. It's also known as a physical address because it's embedded into the hardware of network devices such as network interface cards, routers, switches, and some other networking devices. Below are the steps for obtaining each MAC address for the Hydrawise controller model(s).
HC, HPC, PRO-HC, & HCC Models
- From the touchscreen, select Status.
- Select Network.
- Make a note of the IP address on the touchscreen.
Using this info, navigate to your Router Configuration page to obtain the Mac address.
X2 w/WAND Model
- Open the Hydrawise App.
- Click the Menu icon.
- Select Bluetooth Control.
- Select your Device.
- Select Diagnostics.
- Select Network.
Using this info, navigate to your Router Configuration page to obtain the Mac address.
