In an effort to help industry professionals attend the WaterSmart Innovations Conference and Expo, Hunter is co-sponsoring a scholarship fund available for several recipients in conjunction with Ewing Irrigation.

To qualify, applicants must submit a letter from their supervisor documenting that the scholarship is necessary for the employee to be authorized to travel, using this online application. Applicants also must write a brief essay explaining how they will use the education they will receive at WSI 2013 toward conservation and/or teaching efforts.

Applications are due on or before Friday, August 2, 2013. Scholarship recipients will be notified on or before Friday, August 23, 2013.

WSI also offers separate $100 scholarships to students, faculty and staff from accredited educational institutions.
