We’re happy to announce that Hunter Industries was presented with an Excellence in Energy Leadership Award at the 14th-annual San Diego Gas & Electric Energy Showcase event for our outstanding results in energy efficiency, sustainability, and conservation. 

Hunter, along with seven other local businesses, was lauded for our continued commitment to implementing innovative technologies and smart solutions to help cut costs and protect the planet.

“We know that our goal to create a culture of sustainability within our industry starts with leading the way,” said Bryce Carnehl, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager. “We’re honored to accept this award.”

Through our Corporate Social Responsibility program, we have set robust goals around energy consumption. For example, last year we upgraded an on-site cold-water chiller plant that will result in a savings of 480,000 kWh.
