The launch of our Wireless Valve Link brings a much-anticipated tool to the landscape irrigation industry. After years discussing this technology concept with landscape professionals, we’ve succeeding in developing a reliable and affordable solution that provides tremendous flexibility for landscapes of any size.
Beyond the immediate benefits of wire-free, remote control valve operations, the Wireless Valve Link brings extra capabilities to Hunter irrigation systems. When used with our modular ICC2 and HCC Controllers, the Wireless Valve Link allows for quick, easy system expansion with a simple plug-in module.
It’s also compatible with Centralus™ and Hydrawise® Software for convenient, cloud-based control with water-saving features. In addition, the Wireless Valve Link adds up to 54 valves (+P/MV) within 2,000 line of sight or more with a repeater. Simply specify the Wireless Valve Output Module within the controller to communicate with the wireless components.
But here’s the exciting part: Since there are several module ports within these controllers, standard wire modules and EZ Decoder System modules may also be installed. This means you can specify multiple wires, two wires, or no wires out of a single controller to operate the remote-control valve within a project.
At Hunter, we design irrigation control hardware with modularity in mind. This approach brings numerous benefits to the manufacturing process and the professionals using our technology by reducing costs, paring down packaging, allowing for zone expandability, and decreasing overall waste. Backward compatibility is also a key feature as new components and features are adaptable for legacy hardware and controller enclosures. In the case of the Wireless Valve Link, future compatibility also comes into play.
