On August 9, Hunter’s Solar Sync won the 2014 Innovative Product Category Award of Excellence at Irrigation Australia’s annual gala. The Solar Sync is an advanced weather sensor that calculates evapotranspiration (ET) and adjusts Hunter controllers daily based upon onsite weather conditions. Solar Sync was recognized with the award for its ability to convert Hunter controllers into smart controllers that promote water conservation and healthier plants.

Hunter Area Manager Rob Gough submitted Solar Sync in the competition. “Hunter is honored to accept this award. We are proud of Solar Sync’s innovative contribution to water-saving efforts throughout Australia,” he said.
