With the cursor on EVEN, press the arrow (>) button once and the 
icon will appear and a 1 flashing in the display. Interval watering schedule appears on the display.

Press the the plus (+) or minor (-) button to select the number of days between watering days (from 1 to 31 days). This is called the interval.
The controller will water the selected program at the next start time and will then water at the interval programmed.
