A Hunter Clik® sensor or other type of interrupt weather sensor can be connected to the SRC. The purpose of this sensor is to stop watering when precipitation is sufficient. The sensor connects directly to the controller and allows you to easily override the sensor by using the RUN (BYPASS SENSOR) position on the dial.
- Route the Wires from the rain sensor up through the same opening used for valve wiring.
- Connect one wire to the RS terminal and the other to the C terminal.
- Connect the Valve Common from the field to the RS terminal.
Note: If a pump relay is being used, the pump relay common must also be connected to the RS terminal.
