The Hunter Jar-Top valve has two holes in the bonnet of the valve. The purpose of these two holes is to drain the water that could have collected around the diaphragm.
If your valve is leaking from these holes most likely the diaphragm is not sealing completely, usually because the lip is not aligned with the hole or not sitting properly on it, or if the upper part of the diaphragm is bent. Water will collect in the groove surrounding the diaphragm and drain through the holes. You will need to disassemble the valve and check and re-align the diaphragm. If the diaphragm looks worn, then it will need to be replaced. Learn More
