The XC Hybrid model controller can be powered by several different sources. The included power source uses batteries in a battery pack. The voltage output on the station terminals is Direct Current (DC). Reference the chart below with your current XC Hybrid Model.

| Indoor 24 VAC Transformer (526500) | All XC Hybrid Models | If AC power is available, the XC Hybrid is designed to operate on batteries or a permanent plug-in transformer. A 24 VAC output plug-in transformer can be attached to the two 24 VAC terminals inside the lower access area. Regardless of the power source, the voltage output will remain DC. If the transformer loses power, the controller will continue to operate on the battery source. |
