Route a pair of wires from the pump relay into the controller.

Connect a common wire to the C (Common) terminal inside the controller and connect the remaining wire from the pump start relay to the P (Pump) terminal.
Relay holding current draw must not exceed 0.3 A. Do not connect the controller directly to the pump or damage to the controller will result.
