Two things cause a leaking or weeping rotor. A failure with the valve or solenoid/ selector switch assembly. To troubleshoot this, turn the selector switch to OFF at the top of the rotor. Check O-Ring on the rock screen. Make sure it is not damaged, worn out, or missing. If replacement is necessary, the part number is 426300. Learn More
Check the VCD (Velocity Control Disk) and the valve filter. Remove the rock screen by unscrewing the screen counterclockwise. Learn More
Examine the valve filter screen and check for any debris or damage. If there is debris, clean it off. If it's damaged, then you can replace it with part number 387400SP. To access the VCD, unscrew the two fasteners on the VCD and check for any damage or debris on the VCD. Clean the VCD if there is debris. If the VCD is damaged, you can replace it with part number 10009400SP.
Check the diaphragm by closing the communication port. Press your thumb on the communication port and push down on the diaphragm and release it when it bottoms out. If the diaphragm is slow to pop up when holding the comm port then it's good, if it's quick then replace the valve (part number 929700SP). To understand if the diaphragm pops up, slowly press it down without closing the communication port to compare how quickly it pops up. Learn More
Comm Port Push Down Here Check the Communication port on the valve. Check for any damage or deformity, and debris in the communication port. Additionally, check the O-Ring inside the communication port. Check that it is not deformed or missing. If anything is damaged, replace the valve with part number 929700SP.

Check to make sure the solenoid is seated correctly in the base. Remove the Lid by turning the quarter-turn screw counterclockwise to release the lid. Insert the snap ring removal tool (P/N 251000SP) or a flathead screwdriver into the slot on the side of the lid and pry up to remove.
Examine the solenoid on the solenoid base to see if it is cross-threaded or too loose. Tighten if needed.
Check the plunger and O-Ring on the solenoid. Unscrew the solenoid and examine the plunger for any deformity.
Ensure the pilot valve bracket assembly (blue) is seated and fitted correctly. It can pull or push on the exhaust ports of the solenoid base if it's not fitted properly.
