Pilot Navigator is an over-the-web software for HSN members. Customers can not go to an app store to download the software. You must access the software via the webpage (pilot.hunter.global). The main benefit is the customers will not require an app update if a new feature becomes available. If a software change is required based on Apple or Android software, we do not need to change anything within the software. Without typing in the URL address every time you use Navigator, you can create an icon that acts like an app icon to go to the webpage. Follow the steps below based on your phone platform:
iPhone
- Launch the Safari app.
- Enter pilot.hunter.global in the URL bar. Tap Go.
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down till you see Add to Home Screen, and tap that option.
- You can adjust the App name if needed. If not Pilot Navigator should appear automatically. Tap Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is on your iPhone's display.
Android
- Launch the Chrome app.
- Open the pilot.hunter.global webpage you want to pin to your home screen.
- Tap the Menu icon (3 dots in the upper right-hand corner) and tap Add Page.
- Save to the Home screen.
- Enter the Pilot Navigator Name for the shortcut.
- Tap Add.
